I purchased these at my work, and I couldn't be more pleased. They are not real leather, but hold up wonderfully. They so with so many different styles; mid-calf socks for that spring looks, thigh or knee highs, or short hidden socks. Love love these! I got an 8, and I'm usually 7.5 to 8 but they are a little too big. If deciding between two, get the smaller size!
I got them in black suede. They look absolutely gorgeous on my feet but comfort is the main problem. They're 6 inches high (including the platform). Though it comes with a platform, it doesn't help much since my foot is still forced to arch to the max. It definitely requires some time to be able to walk "normally" in these babies (forget about running!) and I recommend foot pads for extra comfort. Once you get a grip of them, you'd be good to go :) I still practice walking in them at home while doing house chores. Haha :)
About sizing, I'd say they run ALMOST true to size. I'm a size 8 and I got them in 8. They're a bit loose but I prefer them that way since I don't want to suffocate my feet --> this is when the foot pads will come in handy as well :)
Dolce Vita shoes are so cool, the price does vary depending on where you get them. I gt a pair of sandals from them last spring and they look awesome.
They are a bit pricey at times, but in the shoe world they are pretty affordable considering the uniqueness of the shoes.
Anyone who wears those shoes def make a statement!
I've worn a pair of dv thongs sandals almost everyday last summer, so basically religiously.. I am utterly devoted to them. I adore them so much so that I purchased them in black and gold. I've never gotten so many compliments for an everyday shoe. I would highly recommend any Dolce Vita sandals, without a doubt. I bought these great dolce vita sandals that I wear everywhere and I was really scared they were going to break or something because I wore them so much but the are still in perfect shape! I love Dolce Vita so muchhhhh!
