Always joyful and exciting, Nanette Lepore runway shows just seem to leave a smile on your face, and from the front row darlings to the stylish attendees exiting the show, everyone seemed extra cheerful. The Spring/Summer 2012 show made me want to skip Fall and Winter and fast forward to Spring; 2013 Nanette Lepore Spring not only exudes the ultra girly style she is so great at but had an edge that would make any gal cool and confident (and happy!).
A slew of celebrities were amongst the happy attendees of the S/S ’13 Nanette Lepore show; The front included Abigail Breslin, Jay Manuel, Aida Turturro (The Sopranos) and Edie Falco (Nurse Jackie, The Sopranos), Sami Gayle (Stolen, Blue Bloods) and India De Beaufort (One Tree Hill, Jane by Design).
Afterwards, I caught up with a couple stylish gals to chat about the show. Eva Daiberl of Miss Renaissance (photo 2), who was wearing a Nanette Lepore dress, enjoyed the show and specifically “loved the tailoring, and the colors were on point.”. The colors made a lot of impact in her collection, and if one piece wasn’t your color, there would be a color for you somewhere in the collection. Just ask the gorgeous Anna E. Cottrell (editorial and personal stylist of Tulip Louise, cover photo) who enthusiastically said, “As a redhead, I loved all the greens.”
